LIBA 101: Member Orientation/Refresher

LIBA 101 was created to give new and existing members on overview of LIBA and the benefits of being a member.  Join us to learn ways to maximize your membership and to also learn more about why buying local and supporting the local community is so important.  A presentation will be given by LIBA Board Members that will include: a brief history, our message and collective benefit, ways to get involved and member benefits (including networking meetings, discounts, advertising opportunities and more).

Please make sure to let us know if your prefer to meet in-person or via zoom.  The majority will determine meeting location.

Lunch in the Garden

at Waterfront Botanical Gardens

Join us Wednesday, September 15th for lunch at the beautiful Waterfront Botanical Gardens (located at 1435 Frankfort Ave).  Enjoy lunch with your fellow LIBA members while listening to a short presentation about the gardens.  A tour of the gardens will follow lunch.

• Club Croissant - Honey ham, smoked turkey, maplewood bacon, American cheese, romaine lettuce and roma tomato on croissant
• Bluegrass Chicken Salad with craisins and pecan on honey wheat
• Homemade Pimento Cheese with lettuce and tomato on country white bread
• Greek Vegetable Pita Pocket - stuffed with hummus, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, feta, olives and pepperoncinis
