Based on HSEU agreements with NUHS, SingHealth and NHG, the maximum weekly working time for nurses is 42 hours for the regular position, 40 hours for a rotating position and 38 or 40 hours (depending on the hospital) for the permanent night shift. The salary ranges below are based on HSEU`s agreements with NNHS, SingHealth, NHG and NTUC Health Co-operative. The agreements with LESNHS, SingHealth and NHG came into effect from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2020, while the agreement with NTUC Health Co-Operative is in effect from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022. The Health Workers` Union (HSEU) has entered into agreements on the remuneration of nurses in various health groups and institutions, including the National University Health System (NUHS), SingHealth, National Healthcare Group (NHG) and NTUC Health Co-Operative. In response, a nurse, who has 11 years of experience in this field, wrote a viral Facebook message (which she later filed) that highlighted the lower salaries nurses receive when they have far more qualifications and experience than these temporary positions would require. In February, DPM Heng announced a bonus of up to one month for the frontliner, including health workers. We have forwarded some of these issues to the Department of Health, in the hope of better understanding the use of registered nurses` starting salaries to compare them to those in temporary swabber positions, as well as a comprehensive overview of how nurses will be compensated. The base salary margin for “Registered Nurse II” for NHS is $1,700 to $2,800. Although not all nurses are employed on the front lines of Covid 19 operations, their participation in Covid-19 operations is undoubtedly important.

This certainly puts them on the front lines of Covid-19 operations and makes them vulnerable to virus contamination. Health clusters also work closely with HSEU on initiatives such as the distribution of care packages, the GrabCare program for providing transportation to front-line employees, and collaboration with Mindfi, a mindfulness application. Based on studies, there were no proven epidemiological links showing that these health care workers were infected. However, a possible link between the physician and a covid-19 patient was not ruled out in one case in a private health facility. These documents do not contain the salary ranges for “registered nurses.” This could be explained by the different classifications used by clusters and institutions in the health field.
