Weeks after nearly a foot a snow and a layer of ice coated much of the Louisville area, a backlog of mail is still stuck at the main post office in Louisville, leaving customers frustrated with things not being delivered.

In October, Jefferson County Public Schools paid out over $2 million in bus stipends for nearly 11,000 students. The payments from December are even higher and for a fewer number of students.
